Position Title: Accountant/Bookkeeper
Work Setup: Work Onsite
Salary: Php 35000.00 Php 45000.00
Schedule: 7:00 PM 4:00 AM PH Time

Our client specializes in bookkeeping and financial management services tailored for
construction businesses. They handle tasks such as accounting software setup account
reconciliation payroll processing BAS preparation and financial reporting allowing
business owners to focus on growth and project management.

JOB DESCRIPTION FOR AN ACCOUNTANT/BOOKKEEPER

Responsibilities as an Accountant/Bookkeeper:
Creating Xero software files for new clients
Manage and maintain financial records
Reconcile accounts weekly
Manage receipts
Manage accounts receivables and payable
Utilise Xero for bookkeeping and financial management tasks
Prepare payroll processing and compliance
Prepare Activity Statements (BAS/IAS)
Conduct financial analysis and generate reports
Ensure compliance with Australian tax laws and regulations
Prepare budgeting and forecasting activities
Prepare end of month performance reports for each client
Conduct monthend and yearend close processes
Utilise practice management software to update daily tasks
Assist with adhoc tasks
o Prepare and send engagement letters
o Documenting processes
o Managing calendar bookings
o Email management etc
o Organise client gifts

Qualifications as an Accountant/Bookkeeper:
Must have 23 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience in Australia
Experience with trades businesses is a plus but not required
Must be a graduate of a BS Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or CA certification is a plus but not required
Proficiency in Xero accounting software
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with advanced MS Excel knowledge (familiarity with formulas VLOOKUPs and pivot tables).
Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
