Basic Function:

Responsible for ensuring that the manufacturing plant environment maintains high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and pest control.  This role involves managing hygiene protocols, overseeing pest control operations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, health and safety regulations, and leading a team to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conducts annual review of procedures and quality objectives
• Prepares monthly data analysis of audit report and review monthly trends report of the sanitation and pest control activities
• Coordinates with the third party Pest Control Management, monitor its performance and facilitates payment
• Reviews the effectiveness of the 3rd-Party Pest Control provider and conduct performance evaluation annually
• Assist management to coordinate and enforce implementation of quality systems and programs
• Assist in the preparation and conduct of the plant for internal and external regulatory and plant audits
• Coordinates with the Production Managers and Supervisors for the recommendation of corrective and preventive action to address all non-conformances observed or identified.
• Monitors and evaluates the performance of all Hygiene and Pest Control Officers
• Conducts orientation and training to newly hired Plant Hygiene/Pest Control Officers regarding their duties and responsibilities
• Conducts refresher course to all employees regarding GMP, SSOP, and Pest Control Management
• Perform other related duties assigned by the management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Facilities Management or any related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in plant hygiene, pest control and facilities management in a Manufacturing plant; with 2 years Supervisory role.
• Relevant certification in pest control management or similar are preferred.
