Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Food Technologist to join our team at our coffee roastery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving processes related to coffee production, ensuring high quality and safety standards are met. As a Food Technologist, you will work closely with our team to conduct experiments, analyze data, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our coffee products. Additionally, you will be responsible for staying updated on industry trends, conducting research, and collaborating with various departments to achieve our business goals.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and improve coffee processing techniques to enhance product quality.
2. Conduct experiments, analyze data, and create reports to support product development.
3. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
5. Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
6. Participate in sensory evaluations and provide feedback to enhance flavor profiles.
7. Assist with product packaging, labeling, and documentation as needed.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
2. Previous experience as a Food Technologist or similar role in the food and beverage industry, with a focus on coffee preferred.
3. Strong knowledge of coffee processing, roasting, and brewing techniques.
4. Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality control practices.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong communication and project management skills.
8. Passion for coffee and a desire to innovate in the field of specialty coffee.
