I. Position Summary

Monitoring and reporting on the company’s inventory is the key role of an Inventory Controller. Ensuring adequate material for daily operations is crucial.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Optimize inventory control procedures
• Inspect business supplies to identify shortages
• Ensure product stock for all channels
• Record deliveries to reconcile inventory
• Use software to monitor demand
• Place orders to replenish stock
• Analyze data for future needs
• Evaluate suppliers for cost-effective deals
• Collaborate with staff to meet business goals
• Report to management on stock levels

II. Job Requirements

• Graduate of any 4-year course
• Proven experience as an inventory manager
• Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting
• Working knowledge of inventory software
• Ability to track inventory and create reports
