Laboratory QA Chemist

Job Description
As a Laboratory QA Chemist, you are responsible for maintaining the Quality System of the Laboratory and monitoring the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence of non-conformity lab works ultimately supporting the financial objectives of the laboratory.
Responsibilities in Detail:
- Ensures that the agreed quality standards are adhered to
-Uses appropriate methods and tools in the development, maintenance, control and distribution of quality and environmental standards
-Makes technical changes to quality and environmental standards according to documented procedures
-Investigates and documents the internal control of specified aspects of automated or partly automated processes, and assesses compliance with the relevant standard. - Maintains the Laboratory’s Quality System
-Updates, revises, and maintains the Laboratory’s Quality Assurance Manual, Standard Operating Procedures, and other quality documents.
-Performs internal audits of the Laboratory, including both technical and quality systems audits
-Monitor the nonconformity occurrences related to the Laboratory Quality Management System and conduct a corrective action verification, including follow-up monitoring to gauge the effectiveness of the corrective action. - Conduct trend analysis on the data gathered in laboratory monitoring report.
-Equipment and Analytical Instrument Daily Performance Check and Condition
-Laboratory Environmental Condition
-QA/QC Samples and Reference Standard Results.
-And other laboratory data that requires further analysis. - Ensures that the Laboratory Safety Program and procedures are followed at all times.
- Follows all Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures as outlined in the Laboratory Quality Assurance Manual in performing analytical tests in the laboratory as assigned, and immediately report any problems with tests, equipment or results
- Assists with Laboratory administrative duties, as necessary, including but not limited to the following:
-Generating and/or reviewing analytical reports
-Monitoring of Laboratory Chemical and Materials Inventory.
-Monitoring turn-around times - Performs Method Validation to New analysis
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Chemistry
- Must be a registered Chemist
- With at least 2-5 years of relevant experience in working in a Laboratory with ISO17025 set up.
- Proficient in Laboratory Operations, Quality Assurance and Improvement
- Willing to be based in Novaliches, Quezon City
