Job Summary:

Administrative

  • Answering phone calls and emails from internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing and maintaining filing systems both physical and electronic
  • Providing administrative support to management and staff including filing data entry and scheduling appointments or events
  • General administrative duties such as ordering office supplies maintaining office equipment and uniform inventory
    Bookkeeping

    • Assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks such as data entry reconciling accounts or credit card statements and generating financial reports and statements
    • Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes including recording financial transactions in accounting software (Xero) and processing invoices receipts and other financial documents

      Requirements

      • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or junior bookkeeper
      • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word and Outlook) and some understanding of basic accounting software (Xero preferred)
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
      • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills
      • Attention to detail and accuracy
      • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
      • Qualifications in business administration bookkeeping or accounting would be an advantage
        Additional Job Details:

        Setup and Location: Officebased/Hybrid/Remote (Ortigas Alabang Pampanga or Cebu)

        Work Schedule: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (AEDT) 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (PH Time)

        Employment Type: Fulltime

        Minimum 7+ years of relevant Australian general accounting experience. Experience supporting clients in the manufacturing industry is a nice-to-have. Excellent written and verbal English business communication skills. With great initiative to contribute to both professional and company advancement Outstanding analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability in various accounting software, including MYOB EXO and Microsoft Excel is highly desirable. Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance or any relevant field, CPA or Chartered Accountant is an advantage. Knowledgeable of BAS requirements incl. GST, PAYGW, FTC, etc. Ability to deal with inter-company scenarios. Expert in basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices. Demonstrated ability to develop and retain effective client relationships. Knowledge of bookkeeping solutions and Microsoft Office, i.e., Excel, Outlook. Well-developed interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to mentor/train accountants. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and prioritize. Very keen attention to detail and high levels of initiative.
