They are seeking an experienced AU Senior Accountant to join their expanding team. To qualify for this role a minimum of 5 years of Australian Taxation experience in a Public Practice firm is required.

Job Summary:
As a Senior Accountant you will lead our accounting team in providing comprehensive financial services to our clients. You will oversee financial reporting tax compliance and strategic financial planning ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and delivering exceptional value to our clients.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Attend weekly company training and taxation training.
- Review less experienced team members work/delegate tasks when asked to by your Manager.
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly business activity statements.
- Preparation of annual tax returns & financial accounts for SMSF.
- Preparation of annual tax returns & financial accounts for:
- individuals
- sole traders
- partnerships
- companies
- trusts
Skills and experience
- CPA or CA certification is preferred but not essential.
- 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on Australian taxation.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles tax laws and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero and MS Office.
- Exceptional communication negotiation and client relationship management skills.
