About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist to join a dynamic team in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time, hybrid role, where you will be responsible for leveraging data and advanced analytics to drive strategic business decisions and operational efficiencies.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop and implement advanced statistical and machine learning models to extract insights from large, complex datasets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve critical business problems using data-driven approaches
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and data-driven strategies to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data science techniques and technologies, and continuously improve our data and analytics capabilities
• Mentor and guide junior data science team members, contributing to the growth and development of the wider data science function

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data science or analytics role, with a proven track record of delivering impactful business solutions
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and experience working with big data technologies and tools
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modelling, and data mining techniques
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations
• Experience in the energy or infrastructure industry is highly desirable, but not a strict requirement
