About the Role

As our Digital Marketing Assistant, you will use your resourcefulness and creativity to support the Marketing and Community Engagement team in implementing and optimizing digital marketing strategies across our various channels.

This is a diverse role, and an exciting opportunity for a well-organised, creative and vibrant digital marketer to learn in a fast paced marketing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in development of content (including graphics and videos) to be used across print, direct mail, signage, email, website, video and social media, while managing the consistency of The Capricornian brand.
• Contribute to The Capricornian’s digital channels including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, website (WordPress), Online Banking, Cap App, branch TV screens, ATM screens, Google Business & Google+.
• Work closely with our Community Engagement Officer to create exciting visual testimonials from our customers, staff and sponsors which will be used strategically across relevant platforms and to build on the positive reputation of The Capricornian.
• Assist with the coordination and execution of digital marketing campaigns
• Schedule and publish content across social media platforms and monitor community engagement with posts.
• Use data analytics tools to track and report on engagement and performance of digital marketing activities.

Travel throughout our Central Queensland branch network will be required.

Skills And Experiences

About You

You will be adaptable, with a natural creative flair. You will be a problem solver and an independent learner who is proactive and innovative in identifying new methods to perform your job to a consistently high standard. You will display a strong initiative to achieve marketing projects, campaigns and optimising member facing digital platforms

Your skills, experience and qualifications will include:

• Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or similar.
• 2 – 3 years experience in digital marketing and graphic design with experience and proven ability in using digital marketing channel platforms.
• Well-developed computer skills utilizing Microsoft Suite, as well as programs such as WordPress, CRM Management software, Social Media platforms and scheduling tools and Adobe Design Suite.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Current Drivers Licence.
• Desirable – previous experience with a financial institution.
