Account Manager

What we’re looking for
Due to ongoing business growth and significant market opportunities, Graphic Art Mart is seeking the expertise of a talented Account Manager/BDM to enhance its strategic position in Australia’s graphics industry.
Your new role
Working within our external sales team, you will be responsible for managing existing client accounts and driving new business development efforts, to ensure all financial and non-financial objectives are met.
Within this newly created role, you will:
• Establish strategic relationships and locate and develop new business opportunities that are central to the company’s growth.
• Work with key personnel and managers to drive pipeline growth and successes in providing the best sign, digital, graphic, and display solutions to the visual industries.
• Lead partnerships with clients to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions and tailored sales opportunities.
• Proactively analyse current market intelligence to identify new product and service opportunities.

What you’ll need to succeed
• You have demonstrated experience and success working in sales and new business development, generating, and securing strategic opportunities.
• You are a results-driven, collaborative professional with an ability to demonstrate a high level of technical business development skills.
• With excellent written and verbal communication skills, you are naturally motivated by building strong relationships and creating partnership opportunities.
• You have a strong track record of solution selling in a B2B environment.
• You’re excellent at managing your own time and a real self-starter; you don’t need someone watching over your shoulder to get things done.
• You are based in Melbourne, and willing to travel to other VIC locations if necessary.
