Main Job Description with Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Schedules and oversees conduct of microbiological analyses of various types of samples.

2. Checks analytical data gathered by laboratory staff.

3. Ensures accuracy and reliability of all analytical results generated.

4. Analyses results and statements of conformity.

5. Initiates and develops laboratory methods to upgrade the laboratory’s scope of services.

6. Evaluates new methods or parameters that the laboratory may be capable of doing.

7. Verifies or validates methods.

8. Ensures consistent implementation of the management system

9. Ensures that all laboratory personnel are adequately trained in their technical functions

10. Leads/documents investigation whenever nonconformity in the technical operation occurs

11. Prepares and submits reports related to the laboratory

Minimum Qualifications/ Experience:

A University Degree of Biological Science/Medical/Food Science

At least five (5) years technical and management experience in microbiology

Knowledgeable in various analytical methods and techniques in microbiology

Experience in quality management system

Required Certifications or Special Skills:

Registered Microbiologist/Licensed Medical Technologist or Food Technologist

Willing to work in Cubao, Quezon City.
