Key Responsibilities:

– Conducts Physical and Chemical analyses on the laboratory samples in accordance to approved test methods, customer supplied procedures, or local/international recognized references such as AOAC, USP, BP, SMEWW and Compendium.
– Prepares reagents and solutions related to conduct of analysis.
– Submits in a timely manner, fully accomplished analytical report to TSH for review and approval.
– Performs method validation and computes the measurement uncertainty.
– Retains all records of data related to the performed test and test results. in accordance with good laboratory practices, including use reagents and equipment.
– Operates and maintains equipment used in performing analyses.
– Follows the established quality assurance and quality control programs.
– Complies with established quality management system, PNS, ISO/IEC 17025 requirements and other government regulations and recognitions.
– Participate in quality programs such proficiency, intra-laboratory, blind and parallel tests, and inter-laboratory comparison programs etc.
– Conducts environmental monitoring of AAS room, Weighing room, and Refrigerator.
– Update inventory of glassware and inform TSH for replenishment of stocks.
