MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Digitizes into the Geographic Information System (GIS) completed pipe-laying and key, aboveground and belowground assets, from various Capital Expenditures (CAPEX) projects of Maynilad in compliance with GIS standards and policies

2. Monitors and digitizes the on-time submission of implemented Operational Expenditures (OPEX) projects

3. Tags the location of incident data and captures pertinent information using the data model developed together with asset owners

4. Maintains data reliability of Maynilad water and wastewater network (e.g. treatment plants, pump stations, and reservoir) by updating assets based on field validation reports directly into the GIS

5. Performs GIS data quality, control analysis of data accumulated from various sources (e.g. data from Operational Offices, Third Party Service Provider) using GIS tools, provides request using layouts and views, performs spatial analysis and generates maps and reports

6. Assists the supervisor in providing data to Third Party Service Provider

7. Provides technical and customer support to relevant operational units, and addresses GIS concerns that may arise in any relevant operational office

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM EDUCATION

• Graduate of Geography, Environmental Science, Geodetic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Urban Planning, Urban Geography, or other related field.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Newly graduate or 1 to 2 years of experience in GIS related

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

• Possesses analytical and technical competency related to the job

• Excellent in oral and written communications

• Knowledge in GIS software is advantage

• Knowledge in office software such as Autocad, MS Office

• Keen to details can read and interpret as-built drawings and map orientations
