The Accounts Payable Assistant ensures that the creditors are paid on time and expenses are accounted in accordance with the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry as well as local policies and procedures.

• Prepares and maintains a list of specimen signatures of approving authority (as per delegation of power) along with the limits for approving of any purchase of goods or services
  • Obtains approvals for all journal entries made during the day from Chief Accountant and Financial Controller
    • Completes any other projects tasks or activities as assigned from time to time
    • Extracts the entire expense report departmentlevel purchase and forward it to respective department for critique at month end.
    • Generates a report for creation / edition of supplier code to be reviewed and approved by the Financial Controller
    • Receives and reviews the completeness of the invoice receiving report delivery notes etc. for invoice booking.
    • Makes a list of invoices with error or incomplete and follow up for error invoices
    • Sorts the invoices alphabetically supplier wise for payment
    • Maintains a register (date Invoice number partys name amount) to receive invoices
    • Verification activities to be followed for accepting of Invoices received for purchases or services
    • Performs other functions and responsibilities which may be assigned by the immediate superiors

      QUALIFICATIONS

      • 1year related experience in the same industry
      • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Business Course
      • Excellent computer skills
      • Good oral and written communication
      • Can start immediately
      • Amenable to work in Cebu
