Product Development Specialist
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Be familiarized with legal documents that are used in distribution and manufacturing industries, and can compose and/or edit it such as LOA, LOI, Distributorship Agreements, etc.
• Be familiarized with FSSC, ECOCERT, HACCP, GMP, ISO, LTO, CPR, COA, MSDS, DMP or CEP, and other product technical documents.
• Source for possible suppliers for new product developments, and communicate with current suppliers such as COA, MSDS, GMP, ISO, HACCP, HALAL, KOSHER, DMF or CEP for FDA, FPA, BPI and PHILGEPS applications.
• Assist sales team to acquire copies of technical specifications documents certificates and samples of the items for product development.
• Assist sales team to look for possible customers international for certain products.
• Acquire USD price quotations of every item for product development and bidding, as requested by sales team or CEO.
• Ensure that all communications from sales team and suppliers will be made into email/black-and white. Always inform or CC the CEO and Account Executive in all communications.
• Monitor and record all given tasks (product developments); pending, cancelled or successful in the monitoring file.
• Update suppliers for any progress of the product development to engage good communication and support.
• Confirming bidding awards, payment terms, price, specs, quantity or delivery requirement, delivery schedule, forwarder details to accounting team before requesting PO creation.
• Requesting PO creation budget for shipment to accounting colleagues.
• Reminding suppliers for required shipping documents, hard and soft copies.
• Secure R&D hard and soft copies of sample requests, PO, shipping documents, proof of payment for reference.
