Job Description
Job Summary
Responsible for timely execution of product development and innovation. Ensure that developed products is within the target food cost in accordance with the customer specifications and complies to quality and food safety
Qualification Guide
- BS in Culinary, Nutrition, Food Technology, or with a background in cooking and hospitality industry.
- Familiar and knowledgeable with food packaging, food handling, and basic food safety.
- Familiarity with kitchen and baking small and big equipment.
- Organized and clean in kitchen use and food preparation.
- Prepares recipes, costing and documents necessary for endorsement.
- Acquainted with different cuisines is an advantage.
- With at least 2-3 years of experience in product creation and development.
- Willing to be assigned in FTI, Taguig and/or Marikina Heiights.
- Willing to start ASAP.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Works on timely creation of product prototype based on the submitted product brief of the client.
- Executes the timely innovation of products for efficiency without compromising quality and food safety.
- Prepares products for sensory evaluation.
- Organizes experiment reports, product costing and sensory evaluation reports.
- Facilitates establishing specification of new and exclusive raw materials.
- Ensures the cleanliness of kitchen, inventory of ingredients, tools, and equipment.
- Ensures that the food safety policy and the objectives are established and are compatible with the assigned business unit.
- Performs other work-related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
