About the role

The R&D Associate is responsible for developing new products and conducting research for the improvement of existing products.
 

What you’ll be doing

• Formulate, direct and coordinate all research and development programs.
• Introduce new products and processes into overall company strategy.
• Make recommendations for the improvement of existing products.
• Perform cost reduction on existing products and processes.
• Reformulate products to lower cost price due to increase of raw material costs.
• Conduct cost analyses of existing products and those being developed in laboratory scale.
• Give assistance to the production and QA department on process deviation.
• Help in trouble shooting for products on hold.
• Coordinates with the sales department in giving customer service. 
• Develops or improves (new) products as requested by customer.
• Conducts product application of new raw materials in case of supplier change.
• Drafts labels and make product description on existing and newly develop products.
• Perform other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology
• With experience in food manufacturing industry is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Excellent attention to detail 
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Willing to work onsite in Brgy. Maduya, Carmona, Cavite
